They're on the ribbon. I verrrry carefully removed them for the scans and put them right back on.

I've seen two clasps like these except they didn't have pins, they were the rap around type. Are those wrap around types good or bad?

Here's mine, the wrap-around type. I think it's just an alternate way of attachment.
