Nothing special, just a rather placid looking Offizier with 2 ribbons in his buttonhole. His shoulder boars have one pip and what might be a number or maybe crossed hockey sticks.

When it arrived the back was covered with yucky shreds of black paper.

But a fortuitous combination of indelible ink, absorbent album paper, and water base glue with an application of a wet artist's brush and Xacto knife turned into this.

Leutnant der Reserve Weyrauch is listed in the 1914 Prussian Army Rangliste in Infanterie-Regiment Herzog Ferdinand von Braunschweig (8. Westfälisches) Nr. 57.

Can you do your magic again and give us a zoom in on the ribbons? Definitely not a REO. Looks like it is probably a hamburg Haseatic to me. The spectrum shift for a Hessian Bravery Medal wouldn't come out this way, so that's my best guess.
