OK, now show us a scan of the reverse of your medal bar-- not too big, mind!!!

And give those ribbons a good flash with a blacklight.

What metal is the main backing plate of the medal bar? And the catch for the pin is?....

                        That size is just fine

NO emanations of unrighteous vibes are registering on the Ricky Psychic Scan-Evaluation Antennaes.

                        We're ALL "paranoid," these days.

I like what I see-- classic, well made, nicely shaped, excellent condition Prussian officers' style 1930s medal bar. Don't see anything I don't like.

                          Rick,

I just read your thread on the Assoc. Members Forum with a brass pin and non manetic plate etc. I got that worrying feeling, I'm going to nip over to some ones house right now and black light the the thing back and front tonight.

I'll be back in an hour, so it's OK so far, what a relief as for the cross being bronze thats a bonus with my history.

Thank you Rick your a star (me too the wife says, but not very bright)

                          Kind regards,

                          Marcus

Nah, nah-- YOURS is OK! Really! What was "standard" in 1936 (when this bar would have been made-- the oakleaves simply being added on creation in 1939) is not at all what was the norm... in 1943.

                            Construction changed over time.

                              Rick,

Sorry, I'm back I've been waffling, the black light test is OK I've a nice bar.

Thanks for all your help YET again, I'm impressed you spotted that being bronze!

                              I'll give you a PM.

I'm lost for words now, thank you

                              Kind regards,

                              Marcus

This is the first cross with the "Reichsverband" written. The most crosses have only the "R.V.".

Congratulations on that real bronze Hindenburg!!!
