    The cards I bought today

Be ready for some interesting (that's my opinion) cards I bought today.

The first one shows a parade.

            Kaiserin

I guess this is the Kaiserin and Prinzessin Cäcilie? Nice haircut, isn't it? It reminds me a bit of Dracula...

And last but certainly not least: Kaiser Wilhelm II. Do you see what is so special at him?

I hope you enjoyed my post...

                Very Nice

                Dear Jan

I really like your postcards and photos, thanks for showing them. The last card is showing Kaiser wearing a Russian uniform with him not wearing the visor up right. A rare card I think, I haven't seen this card before.

                Best regards

I love the original photos in postcard size.

What I want to know, looking at those Big Old Boys (pity the horses that bore THOSE guys! ) in the first photo, is why we Big Old Collectors never find THEIR uniforms, always the Tiny Teenagers sizes!!!???

Jan, any idea about the medal BEFORE his EKII?

Judging by the size, I'd guess a Friedrich-August medal.
Nice pic of Uhland and Jaegers at the review. Can you blow it up a litle to see the awards on their chests?
                        Nice PKs
                        Cheers,
                        JeMc

I tend to agree with Jeff. The man is a Kraftfahrer and the card is not written, so that doesn't help. The cockade on both men's visor caps seems to be saxon...
I'll give it a try to get a blow up of the different officers at the parade and will post them here.

Jan, for a FA Medal the ribbon has not the right colors. I've checked this with a pic of a FA medal I have. I made it b-w and the complete ribbon looked grey.
