The photo is likely sometime in early March 1919 as both units were in Berlin for the brutal action against the Spartacist-led general strike which also included a revolt by the Volks-Marine Division who joined the Spartacists. Imagine this group lobbing their mines into the 10,000 revolutionaries jammed into the working-class tenements of East Berlin from March 9-12. It's no wonder 1200-1500 died and 12,000 were wounded.
