Being a TR armband collector I have read this thread with great interest! It (this thread) has opened my eyes to a whole realm of armbands and associated organizations I had not given much thought to, that has changed now! daniel tarr817j

I just saw this question. I know of two including this one. I just missed it in a TR auction in the US last year. Someone bought it thinking it was a rare unknown SS cuff-title. Rare it is. SS it isn't.

Freikorps von Neufville cuff-title. Pictured is von Neufville himself. The initials stand for: Freiwilligen 2. Garde-Reserve-Division.

I asked, because I got an unknown amband in a very large size of c. 14 x 21 cm. I thought unusual....but then I rememered this thread and your armband.

Some photos, which were posted at the beginning of this thread. If you compare the size of the belt with the size of the armband, the armband must have an unusual very large size, too.

There were some armbands that were quite large. For example, the Einwohnerwehr Hamburg armband is about 25-30% wider than the standard Einwohnerwehr armband from Bavaria.

Here's a recent acquisition, an Eiserne Front tricolor armband with arrow emblem. It came from a US veteran's estate along with a unit marked SA armband and other odds and ends.

I believe the image of the Eiserne Front fighter was posted somewhere in this forum. I'm reposting it with apologies to the source for the lack of attribution.

Thanks! When this was described to me over the phone, I thought of the photo. I've seen other versions but not this one.

We've already seen this one before, but its still fun to look at.
Is it possible to put a date on the Scharnhorst cufftitle? Late 20's?
