    Can somebody please give me more information on this belt. The only thing I know is that these were used for parade. Well that's a good start but I need your ...

    This belt was worn by the following military branches:

    a). NVA Army
    b). NVA Air Force
    c). NVA Air Defense
    d). NVA Fallschirmjager
    e). Grenztruppen (NVA & DDR)
    f). NVA Army assigned to "Command" of Civil Defense

        STASI wore it too.
        This belts was called: "Feldbinde". We wore it with the Parade-uniform (as you already wrote) and with the "Grosser Abendanzug" (Grosser Gesellschaftsanzug).
        On the left side the Feldbinde is a bit strengthened. There we wore the Ehrendolch.
