      I have a question, I recently got a Kampfgruppen zeltbahn on ebay, I don't really collect that kind of stuff, so I am going to sell it to a guy on red alliance, the problem is I don't know how much they are worth.

        Usually they are worth what a willing seller and a willing buyer agree as a value. So, you're probably the resident expert on current values.

                The medals are sadly not correct, considering the rank on the sleeve is for a senior commander. I think three bars is for a Battalion commander.

                          They were called out ( full scale of issue including Teil II Assault Packs) during the demonstrations but they stayed in the schools they were barracked in, according to the accounts of the Genossen, they wanted no Blood, good for them.

                                LOL the Kampfers turning on the Bonne Gangster government?

                                There is a ridiculous book written by a Westerner about the KdA which makes them sound like some kind of spetzgruppa and although I like to refer to them as "the elite shocktroops of the SED" that's VERY much tongue in cheek.

                                These were the Party faithful having a little game of soldiers to fulfil their part as "armed agitators" in the Marxist-Leninist lexicon.
