        Great Photos Genosse!
For the record, the gentleman with the camera and the binoculars is Ralf Peter on his second visit to Beltring from the Erzgebirge. The G5 truck (three axles) and the MZ motorcycle combination are his, and the very young Zoll lady (13 years old) is his daughter. I also met his son, whom I had seen in Gnadau in September, and was told that his wife was also there but did not have the pleasure to meet her. Ralf Peter brought me as a present the bolt that fits in the recovery point on the front bumper of Klaus which was one of the things that I was missing ... I am so happy now

Whilst I only trundled down for a day, it was nice to see some familiar faces.
I have not been for the last couple of years and it was good to see of the DDR represented more than before, on the downside collecting pickings were very thin indeed, while I came away with a few bits and bobs, it was the worst Beltring I'd ever been to for buying. Daft thing is I picked up the best item that day, from a local military shop on the way home!!!

PS. Matteo, your mob need some hair cuts!!!

That is way beyond my control! Girlfriends, actual or potential, rule over such matters and I am old enough to know that resistance (or indeed advice) is futile...

that is quite true. other things have come into the views of the so called mob (which i think i am in)

i will try to sort it out for next beltring all being well as long as problems do not arise.

it was a very good event with a lot of east germans did not know that there would be that many plus buying more kit for reclaiming the peoples property before the duty cars come due to the facist dealers who had the kit.

some brillient photos but i must be getting mad in my old age due to seeing things wrong with my uniform and the way i wear it e.g. helmet too loose.

one day after much practice and drilling we will be perfected to good NVA standards.

Good effort Genosse! All things will slot into place I am sure. I would remind you however that you are not even twenty yet... so any claim of your having reached old age is a trifle premature.... Are the photographs that your friend took with your camera any good?

I enjoyed having a chat with him and in return he presented me with an Activist's badge

So now I am official an Activist and Agitator of the DDR

For some odd reason I am unable to edit my original with these extra photographs recovered from Genosse James's camera complex...

                            Here they are:
