I am surprised that you did not know of this film. It has been out for some time, advertised as a continuation of the huge success of Sonnenallee by the same director Lenader Haussman. I bought the DVD in Berlin a year or so ago and it had already been out for at least a year then. I do not wish to spoil it for you... but do not raise your expectations too high...Comment

Matteo, I do not watch much TV or movies...just do not have enough time for that sort of thing and I do not really follow the movie scene much in any genre...apart from kids movies maybe...as I have three children, I have no choice by to be aware of the latest kids movies in the cinemas...anyhow, I take it then that the two scenes on youtube are pretty much the best thing about the movie then? Saw first clip few months ago on Youtube. It was hilarious, especially the guy falling down the cliff and the other soldier running around shouting „Wo ist meine Einheit?!“
Would like to see the whole movie but cant find it.

The actor who played the downward career-making Volkspolizist in Sonnen allee is the commanding officer at the Fidel Castro Kaserne and he has a gardening hobby... My DVD is in German with German subtitles but at a certain point I think I understood him making a gardening comparison to his bewildered political officer:
