    Thanks for taking the time to post the pin I asked for plus all the multiple cases that you have for this award. I haven't bought any of the latter Bartels books. So far I have just stuck with my original 1999 edition. It looks as though it might be worth my while to pick up the later editions as well.

        The next is a case for a VVO in Bronze, the oldest version of the VVO with the very small dots (there are three versions of the dots).

        It is complete with the award document from 1956 for Manfred Ewald, at that time state secretary, later president of the DTSB (1961-1988), the highest sports official in the GDR.

              Hello all - Seeing that we have not updated this thread in a long time I thought it would be good to revive this thread and see what others have related to different types of cases out there for medals.
