        Closeup of overcoat.

These aren't the best pics but here is a closeup of the overcoat.

Great Tunic and Overcoat Mike Thanks for showing.
I'm currently trying to get the Overcoat as well for the Uniform but I'm not sure if it is from the same period or later..I'm waiting for the Photos.
Was the Brown Belt also worn on the Tunic or just on the Overcoat?

Does anyone know where to find the markings on the Trousers? It isn't very much worn but I have looked all over the Place and couldn't find any markings at all. Just a old Candy Paper Wrap from "Zitronetten" and a Newspaper Cut-out.

          Regards
          Andreas

            Michael,

The pictures you have posted of your early Dark Collar era Polizei tunic, overcoat and hat are great. Very fine examples.

            Thanks for sharing them.

              Hi,

I thought I would post my Dark Collar era 1961 VoPo visor in this thread.
I was on a lookout for such Visor Hat for a long time to complete my Uniform and finally found one in a stunning condition and a big Size

To my knowledge, these are the only Visor Hats with 3 colour pipings.
The only other ones I can think of are the Miners Hats with 3 yellow pipings.

              Regards
              Andreas

                      Hallo,

da hätte ich auch noch was, Käppi für Generale der Volkspolizei von 1963.

und eine Schirmmütze für einen General von 1961, allerdings schon mit dem neuen Emblem.
