Originally posted by StefasHallo, did I understand it well that you have to give an para troopers orden/urkunden convolut for these 2 great uniforms???.
I really interested what medals/urkunden they where and for wich person?.
Yes,it was a very big Paratrooper Lot from a Stabsf******228;hnrich. Lots of Urkunden from Ehrenparaden in Berlin with Wimpel. Then the normal NVA Urkunden for "Treue Dienste" und "Verdienste" lots of little Sport Urkunden and 18 Photos from the NVA Paratroppers in Action.
But I had no Medals for this Lot.
Also the complete Field Uniform(Vest / Trousers/Boots/Jump Pullover/Winter Jacket/Barrets/Helmet/sleeping bag and other bags and a Ausgangs or Dienst Uniform.
It really was something I liked alot and I still miss this lot but I couldn't resist this Trade for something I will probably never see again or will never can afford.
So I hope, one day I'll find another Paratrooper Lot,that I can put away for the next 30years.
Only item I have kept,is the Invitation Card & Envelope for the Ehrenparade with Entry-Ticket and Program for the Palast der Republik.
Regards
Andreas
P.S. actually, the Things I miss the most from this Paratrooper Lot are the very nice Photos with Combat Action and Jump Action. And all Photos had a nice Stamp on the Back

Andreas - Thanks for the follow up. What I mean by shaved down is that your tunic does not look smooth or worn, but more of a rough texture as shown in your photos. Also thanks for posting close up of your shoulder boards.

Thanks for your comment.
You are probably right, the Tunic is not in a heavy worn condition.
The pre-Owner also told me,that these "Manschafts" Tunics normally have been worn and used very much and that this Tunic is in a very good condition.Only two minor repairs on the Trousers.
What do you mean by shaved down
The Tunic has a Felt (Filz) feel to it..I guess this is what you mean with Woll feel?
Unfortunatly, only some ink from the marking is left.
Only visible is the writing on one Collar-Button(makers mark and Leipzig)
Here are some(I hope) better Photos of the Collar Tab and Shoulderboard.

OSTDEUTSCHLAND - Thanks for the additional photos of the inside of your cap and thanks for adding that there was no marking on the inside. Also, your cap shows very little wear on it...

Hello everybody
I need help with the following Jacket.
It has the DVP Insignia but has a lot of differences compared to my DVP Jacket.
First difference is the Colour. My Jacket is dark-blue or black-blue. The Jacket in Question is more purple-blue or at least a bit brighter in colour.
Next Difference are the Buttons. The Jacket in Question has all types of WWII period Buttons, some are RZM marked and others have the Assmann "A".
Also the Star of the Collar Tabs are different.
The Jacket in Question has also the Closed Colar with the security hook and catch.
I will let the photos do the talking..
here both Jackets, you can see the difference in the colourAttached Files
