Nothing wrong with those, they are just the earlier type 1959-71
I prefer these early screen printed ones to the later embroided variety, also interesting they've used a K98, which in the 50's was standard issue to the KG, in the later patches the rifle becomes more stylistic....Last edited by David H; 09-29-2005, 11:37 AM.

They Did!
Its like the old NVA Officers hand embroidered cocades were they left the outer brass ring, removed the rest and covered them with the new cocade.
I know some of the "Old Guard" who used the old ones to show that they are some of the first recruits in the KG.
BTW. Dr. zoller, who is a Flight Doctor to the German Air force bought some of the things in the Book in my shop.

The KG cap is not mine. So I'm not able to answer your question.
However, the patch seems different of what I have found on Internet.
