                    Hello

Here are some new Photos from my Collection,I'd like to share with the Forum.

Question: Have you ever seen this type of Camo (Flecktarn) before and do you know who used this type of Camo??

I know the famous Blumentarn pattern from the early days but never have seen this type of Camo Pattern before

I only know, these Photos are from Prora. So could it be possible that this type of Camo Pattern was only used by the Fallschirmj******228;ger? The Fallschirmj******228;ger Regiment was based in Prora since 1960. Also a MOT.Regiment was based there.
In the 50's the KVP was based there too.

                    Enjoy the pics

                    Regards
                    Andreas

                            Nice photographs!
This the early camouflage pattern which I believe was of Soviet production. It is sometimes referred to as "Russian splotch" or "Amoeba" camouflage. From photographic evidence it was only used in the very earliest stages of the NVA, which would probably suggest that these photographs are not of Fallschirmäger as the Willi Sänger Regiment was founded somewhat later. My guess is that these photographs are from the late 1950s but not any later.

I cannot add any more detail than Matteo. But these are great photos, I enjoyed seeing these very much.

                              Cheers, Ade.
