Here is the Wehrpass from the Person where this Photo Group belongs to.
He was in military service from 1957 to 1959 as a MPi Gunner in the Panzerregiment 8
The 8th Panzer-Regiment was in Prora from 1956 - 1964
Some Soldiers of this Regiment were drawn from the former KVP-Division in Prora.
This Wehrpass was given to him,when he became a "Reservist" in 1964.
Question: Should he Did have the same type of Wehrpass during his Military Service in 1957?
Or was it a different looking Wehrpass??
Regarding the Camo Pattern,my Camo Tunic is from 62 and it is the "normal" Camo Pattern we used to see on Uniforms from this Timeframe.
Does someone know,when the "Blumentarn/Fl******228;chentarn" Camo Pattern first appeared in the NVA?

Actually, out of all the photos posted, it is the only one that I dislike. It is typical of Soviet propaganda style staged photos. I really wish the subject of this photo would have simply struck a normal pose.

Rare seen Photos of NVA Funeral
..the Photos are from the early days,you can see the tri-colored Shield on the Helmets.
The Photographer Stamp says "Seebeck"
Is there any Informations about such Funerals? Could it be a General or high Political Member?
Any comments are very welcome
