Boa ej, das ging aber schnell! ja Torsten, Du hast recht: es ist Solschenitzyn.

Ich glaube meine Frage war zu leicht...

Oh,this was just very fast! Yes Torsten, you´re right: it´s Solchenitzyn.
I believe my questionwas too easy...

It´s your turn now, Torsten. Congratulations.

Dirk, it was not that easy....but I just got lucky that my first guess was correct...

      Right then, next question:

Below is a membership pin of a DDR organisation.

      1. What organisation is this and what was its aim when first founded?
      2. When was it founded and what was its first name, second name, third name and current name?
      3. When did it become what it was called in 1989? Exact year please.
      4. Who was its first president?

      Good luck. Cheers, Torsten.

I think, it´s a German association. Is it this:
        http://www.vogelweltausstellung.de/images/dkb_logo.gif

        "Deutscher Kanarien -und Vogelzüchter-Bund 1947 e.V." ?

I hope the translation is okay: "German Kanarien-and bird breeder's alliance from 1947 r.a."

            next version:
            1. the organization was the "Deutscher Kulturbund" (German cultural association). The first aim was the cultural reneal/rebuilding/reorganization in hole Germany after the WWII. It should be a gathering point for the artists or cultural intrested people, but especially for the higher intelligently and intellectual people, whom not would do any engagement in a political party.
            2. It was foundet at June 13th, 1945 as the "Kulturbund zur demokratischen Erneuerung Deutschlands" (Cultural alliance to the democratic renewal of Germany). In 1958 it was renamed ito "Deutscher Kulturbund" and 1974 renamed to "Kulturbund der DDR", 1990 renamed to "Deutscher Kulturbunde.V."
            3. see above: 1974
            4. the first president was Johannes R. Becher, poet of the national anthem of the GDR
Is this a better answer than my first?

                4. I hat my father and till today I don´t want to ask for him...
                5. I was married for 3 times, one time with a jewish film-maker, secound time with a high apparatschik, my last husband was American.
                6. I leave my homecountry 6 days after my 41th birthday. My escape route led me through India, Italy, Switzerland to the USA, where I live still today.

                    Du hast Recht, Torsten.

It was Svetlana Josifovna Stalina, I looked for.
                    You are again in it.
I hope that there does not remain so and only we both question ourselves...

since no-one seems to want to have a go at the exact name for it, the round goes to Michael.. over to you now..the actual name is the Police Academy "Karl Liebknecht" in Berlin. Cheers, Torsten.
