Interesting question, here is my perspective on
the subject. Post WW2 tops IMO are smaller in
size, & often contain factory logo & price mark.
For a WW2 top look for a Moscow or Leningrad
lettered (non-graphic-symbol) factory marking.

I've noted the OFW type "f" design in a Russian book,
as cited with any translation help being appreciated.
On the OFW type "i", I've noted these being sold from
Bulgaria in both plastic and cast metal forms. See ...
