I found out, whether true or not, that earlier models were more round of shape and later on got more of an oval shape. The 2nd one posted is a bit more round so I guess it's one of the earlier ones. Of course, when this story about the shape - round vs oval - is true.

Wartime badges could be of different shapes but all of them have different from the postwar types banners.

VERY well displayed.
I like how they are neatly arranged in a case that not only protects them but also allows for close inspection.
And then there's the neat title to each; I assume different variations/manufactures?

The frame back is drilled to accept the screwposts with the screwplate behind securing them? Very well done indeed.
