This one from December 1938 of Lieutenant V. U. Barunin of the 2nd Tank Regiment is unfortunately quite dark--but note the extremely early Order of the Red Star being worn on the LAPEL of his gray armor corps service tunic, and the heraldrically improper backwards facing ("run away!") tank devices on his tabs. Barunin survived the Winter War anyway, since the same photo was recyced as his ID file shot in December 1940 when he was in the 10th Tank Regiment.
