IMO a model-1940, a smaller more high relief
redesign of the earlier large flat 1925/26 star.

Ok,I've been in the meantime doing some Research and think there are 4 types of this pattern:
1st type (earliest)


2nd type



3rd type


4th type (or 1940 pattern)


Most of the Units flags I've seen (mainly Border Guards Units) have the 1940 pattern :

*100th Border unit


*68th Border unit


However,here is the 30th Border unit with a 3rd type top :


And the 129th Border unit with a modified 3rd type top :
