A close up of the 20th Anniversary of Workers' & Peasant s'Red Army would be nice along with the Order of Lenin .
Speaking of the Order of Lenin here is mine which will be the first time I have posted it on any forum.Attached FilesLast edited by John F.; 04-22-2009, 02:11 PM.

Here is a close-up of the obverse and reverse. It is a Type 6 Var. 2. An intersting point about this Order is that it is the same one that is published on pg. 58, of McDaniels & Schmitt's Book, Comprehensive Guide to Soviet Orders & Medals - ser #425692Attached FilesLast edited by John F.; 04-22-2009, 02:20 PM.

Since I collect mainly combat uniforms and gear, I have very few enamel badges. However, sometimes a badge comes along that you can't pass up. This badge happens to be one of them. This is a Mozambique S.N.A.S.P. badge. The S.N.A.S.P. was the Mozambiue equivelant to the Soviet KGB or the Cuban D.G.I. The S.N.A.S.P. was trained by the Soviets, East germans, and Cubans. They were known to be one of the most ruthless and brutal intelligence organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Darrell,
Thanks! I love those 20th Anniversary medal. So simple but elegant in design and the enamel looks great. However, the recipent looks like he could use a makeover . Looks like they exhumed him to give him his award. They guys looks like a much older Richard Thomas, AKA: John Boy Walton.
No need to comment on the Order of Lenin, it speaks for itself.

Nkomo,
Interesting! I personally have not seen much in the way of Communist- African militaria.
What type of fastening device does it use?
Thanks for sharing!
