    aurora ??

    i like to think this was hanging in the captains cabin,,,,,,,but lets just ask first if sombody knows about these items ???



    its made by wooden inletting and paint
    beautyfully detailed ,,,even schadowing in detail
    finnischt by a blank paint,,,,

    wen i first saw it ,,,i just waauwd.

    so ,,ennybody know ennything about it,,,or saw more off these ..

    maybe mass producet ???

    opiniuns please


    o,,,it soposedly schould be the aurora ??

                  It could quite possibly be the Aurora. The information at wikipedia supports this. In fact the attached image is there as well and bears a surprising resemblance don't you think?
                  Then again ships of this design were prevalent in many navies in the very early 20th century.
                  BTW, your piece of art is made from Teak, &/or Mahogany and is extremely beautiful. Someone would pay a pretty penny for it in the right circumstances.

                    but strangely on the back theres no sign off ennything that ,,this item was ever hanging on a wall ..

                    no hook ,,,nothing

                    so thats wy aim so wondering if it wood be somthing else

                      I notice it has a soviet naval flag. Did the Red Navy continue to use cruisers of this class after the revolution?
                      It is possible that the picture was held by an external frame so there would be no fittings on the back for hanging it.

                        flew a unique special Soviet Navy flag with two award badges,
                        I have such a flag off the Aurora in my collection.</h3></center>

                            After the revolution, they probably used whatever ships they could.
                            BUT you have to keep in mind the basic principle of socialist realism (a socialist swchool of art) not to portray things like they are, or they were, ore they will be, but like they SHOULD be!
