Hi Guys,
Got a question here. Not sure I asked this before but, where does one get a Soviet made AK47 and AK74. All I see are Romanian, Bulgarian, Egyptian, and maybe Polish ones, but not one Soviet or East German for that matter... Any leads? Would now definitely be interested in getting both.
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Al

They are out there but are considerably more expensive than the other types.
Bought two barrel-less Russian parts kits for $300 each compared to $99 for a barrel-less Romanian kit, and the Russian kits sold out instantly.

So here are some of the heavies; all guns are semi-automatic.
SG43 and DShK:
Test firing the DShK.
Russian 82mm mortar dated 1942 the day it arrived at the shop.
RPD, DP28, and M53 (Yugo copy of the MG42)
AKs and RPK (California style - no grip makes them no longer CA Assault Weapons). These are used (except the RPK) for Vietnam reenacting, so the missing grip is not a big accuracy factor. []
