Been meaning to ask for a while... ages ago I picked up a belt which is in the style of a 70's/80's Soviet officer belt (brown leather, orange decorative stitching) but this one has a "cut out star belt buckle" (similar to WW2 service dress) however it doesnt have the "post" type fastening of the earlier belts, but instead the double prong style. Additionally behind the cut out star is a thin flap of leather.
Is this a general's service dress belt?
