Paybook from a killed commisar (war trophy)

Hello. I just got a huge lot after a Norwegian Waffen-SS soldier. One of the things was this soldiersbook he had taken from a dead commisar (it says in Norwegian: "Taken from a killed russian commisar 1942"). The waffen-ss soldier I got it from was stationed in the ring around Leningrad.

Page 3-4. There are no more written down in the book. Hope someone that can read russian can help me out with this book. It would be very interesting to know what it says, and who this person was. Thanks for looking.

      Cheers

I should have done my homework before posting. The same goes to the soldier this came from! Cant understand why he wrote that it came from a dead russian commisar? But thanks for letting me know!

            Cheers

Hi Øyvind, glad you can see the funny side. I had to smile about this too. But Vets of all nationalities often add a "sexy" story to go with an item. The chances are he could not read Russian either. Still is an original piece of Soviet paperwork. I think it actually makes a nice story.

              Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Ade and Albert. I also have another theory. He might have bougt it or traded it from fellow soldier that insured my man that this was the real deal. Crocks then as now!

I am going to post the entire group from this veteran, but you can take a pre tour here: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=139641

                Cheers
