Now I want to show you my other General.

It´s a Viertaschenrock of the 1960s with cuffs and a medical badge on the left arm.

Unfortunately the condition of the jacket is not as good as the Zweitaschenrock of the general.

I have supplied a 57er ribbon bar of my collection because unfortunately I don´t own the ribbon bar which originally belongs to the jacket.

    I hope you like it.

@colt45s: Nice visor cap of the LW after 1962

Today I will show a few other jackets from my collection.

First a Viertaschenrock of a Stabsunteroffizier of the Panzertruppe with pointed boards from 1960.
It´s the only Viertaschenrock with pointed boards in my collection.

That´s my two officers GJ Jackets.
The Bergjacke is a rare one for an Oberstleutnant with pointed boards from 1960.
Unfortunately I don´t own a Bergmütze for an officer so I took a early visor cap from my collection.

The Viertaschenrock is from the end of the ´60ies but I like the embroidered Edelweis on the left arm.

In the 1960's at least members of the German (Rocket) Artillery and Anti Aircraft Artillery were trained in US Army training installations (Ft. Sill, Ft. Bliss etc.). I recently saw a complete photographic album of a former Stabsfeldwebel, who's class was trained on HONEST JOHN rocket systems in the U.S in the 1960's. They wore the khaki uniforms while in the States. Will see if I can get the album again and post some scans here.
                      Stefan,
once again, an incredible collection! I don't want to hijack your thread by no means but still have to prove the Heeres Khaki Schirmmütze. Just talked to the retired Stabsfeldwebel today. He was part of a Bundeswehr Army Artillery cadre, trained on Sergeant Missile systems in Ft. Sill, Ft. Bliss, White Sands in 1963. Among their OD uniforms they wore the khaki uniforms with different headgear including Schirmmütze (of course with Army crossed sabbers insignia), Schiffchen and Tropenhelm! Hope the pictures are proof enough.

Now back to your fantastic collection.

                        Lars,

Great reference photos. On page 227 of Kunstwadl's book he shows the Tropenhelm in wear in Fort Bliss, Texas in the 60s. The soldiers are wearing a dark green uniform that I do not recognize. American perhaps?
On page 40 he shows some trial sandfarben uniforms in wear. One wih a Heer cap badge.

                        Regards,

                        Gordon

Thank you for the great reference photos.
That's exactly the visor cap, I'm looking for

                          Greetings,
                          Stefan

Tomorrow I will post my other two general visor caps.

                            Gordon,

he remembered that they wore a mix of U.S. dark green uniforms (trousers, shirt, field jacket) with white name tags and German uniform elements (Feldmütze, Knobelbecher).

                                Hey guys,

Now I want to show you my general visor caps.
I have only three pieces , but each is in its own way a rarity.
The first one I have already shown you on my Hockemeyer Uniform.

The second one is also an early one of the Heer but the colour is darker.
Unfortunately I don´t know the wearer of the visor cap.

                                Greetings,
                                Stefan
