I hope not! When we lived in Belgrade, one of my daughters closest friends was the Australian Ambassadors daughter. She thought that peanut butter was the worst thing she had ever tasted in her life while we eat it with great gusto. Obviously another "acquired" taste!

In the 80's, I saw a Brit ration pack that listed "Britburger" and something with 'spangles'

Can anyone tell me what the 'Britburger' was?

Baconburger....maybe
spangles boiled sweets.

the latest Brit packs have a "Yorkie" bar thats labeled "not for civvies" this is a play on the Yorkie bar advertising slogan "not for girls"
