Thanks very much for the pictures. They help a lot. I have a visor for the gehobener Dienst and it is great to know how many different caps exist in this series.
Also the second photo helps answer a question for me. I had bid on a grey woman's DB hat, like the one on the left of the picture on the bottom shelf, without success I must add, and I wondered of there was a red one like it. Now I know!

Here is one of the lower ranks hats on Ebay right now. A lot of these end up with chincords, but there was no need at the time, as the paygrade was established by the oakleaves:

Thanks for posting pictures of your Bundesbahn caps. Some interesting ones I have not seen before. During what period was the cap on the lower shelf on the viewers right, the one with the anchor cap badge, worn? Was this cap worn by the Bundesbahn ferry service?
