The next helmet will have the decal of the Hansestรคdte Hamburg. This police force, and that of Bremen were the only two that wore different decals on opposite sides of the helmet.
First the decal on the wearers left side.Attached FilesLast edited by Gordon Craig; 11-09-2007, 06:01 AM.

I've been looking for a sample of this type of camo material for some time. Thanks for posting it. I wasn't sure if it really existed or if it was just the photographs that made it look different than the darker camo pattern of the same design. I tneded to believe it really existed becasue there were so many different photos showing this type of camo. Great reference pictures of the camo covers. Thanks again.
Cheers,
Gordon

Hi,
first, I'm not a Genosse, I'm a comrade.
Second, West German soldiers used severel camouflage material for the old helmet, and it was not of interest, which sort of camouflage. You could use, what you need in the particular environment, e.g. in winter time with snow a piece of a bed sheet, the "rest" worn as a cape. You can add such pieces to your collection
In German we say: macht nicht einen solchen Wind darum.
Regards
Uwe
