He was in airforce for 20 odd years straight after the war, so he does have the odd bit of post war stuff (well I have it now), from the far east regiments, Korea and Suez era. It depended on his landings I guess He got these bits of course for my elder brother.....and when he was killed , I got them back in '74. I was two.
But he swears this is early war aquired, he got it from Grantham when the troops were on exercise they popped into the farm for a cup of tea. The poor bugger was sent there after the Blitz Only to be surrounding by crashing RAF pilots in training.Last edited by MH184; 05-11-2005, 01:46 PM.
