      I was just made aware of this old thread.

      It's the most impressive fine miniature work I have yet seen. It's in the wow category.
      Outstanding craftsmanship and true in dimensions to the full size originals.

        That means a lot coming from you.
        Here is how the scabbard drag was made. This was the hardest to figure out.
        I had to make a die, press the brass sheet, trim the pieces, and then I fit and solder them together.

            Ralph,
            Many blade guys don't know that the scabbard is the hardest part to make true and without fault, compared to the rest of the parts, especially in minis.

            Great demonstration photos of what's required for just the chape.

                      Really awesome work - I collect Fairbairn Sykes and have a few different types - but yours are really, really cool.
                      Oh and the John Ek is really cool - too!
