Victorian Badge Age?

It's a 1st Prize Marksmen Badge, A skill-at-arms badge for shooting.
There are 3 grades: white thread - 3rd prize, gold Bullion - 2nd Prize and the shown with a Crown for the 1st.
They came out around 1860, so the Crown is for the Victorian Era.
I think there is no special Regimental connection.
It was worn on the right sleeve.

Thanks for the information fellas! I thought it was a marksmanship badge, not being an insignia collector I never even clued into the white backing being unusual. I will post a pic of the back when I get home tonight, there looks to be a WD stamp on it.
It's a beautiful peice and I had to have it when I saw it.
