Buddy purchased this as a jetton but was curious about it's origin and what it is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Its a pocket watch fob mate. No military connection as far as I can see. Some are engraved to servicemen but these are strictly unofficial.

I have a few in my collection. The best one being in gold to a returned australian WW1 serviceman......a real find that one!
