I was out garage sailing (no pun intended as you read on) and i came upon a sale at a local church and sticking out of one of the bins was this H.M.S. Ark Royal sea cap. They asked 50 cents and i gave them a five for it. After looking through some pictures of the two ark royals i cant find any matches in style the strangest part being that the cap is missing its two breathing holes at the sides and ribbon at the tie. As for inside in pen is written NAW and the distinctive arrow(also in pen). I'm at a complete loss as to what i have any help is welcomed and greatly thanked.

What era were "pusser" caps issued? When I was in the sea cadets in the early 60's I was issued what was called a "pusser" cap. It wasn't made of the plastic covered white material but was plain un-coated cloth that I had to apply white webbo to the top. Inside it had no red/white.green but had a dark blue liner with a hole in the center and a draw string. It didn't have the saddle shape of the regular caps and was flat across the top
