Here is part of my Popski /LRDG /SAS collection .Hope to display it all soon but have added a sand cast LRDG badge made in Egypt .

Certainly a fine looking example of a Popski Badge, however I do not believe manufactured during WW2, but in more recent times. An original Popski Badge must be one of the toughest to find, just think about the small number who served in this Irregular Unit. I have a few examples myself picked-up over the years, but not one of them I believe to be authentic and original. Hopefully others on the Forum will be able to share more information about them. I think the LB hallmarked ones were officially made for the veterans association

I think the sterling silver marked examples and the LB ones can be described as original. Their purpose was not to deceive. They are original but not wartime. I think they are hard to find now.
