        Lovely stuff.

I wonder if anyone has any items from an even more obscure unit "Popski's Private Navy'

        Thanks for sharing

Certainly a fine looking example of a Popski Badge, however I do not believe manufactured during WW2, but in more recent times. An original Popski Badge must be one of the toughest to find, just think about the small number who served in this Irregular Unit. I have a few examples myself picked-up over the years, but not one of them I believe to be authentic and original. Hopefully others on the Forum will be able to share more information about them. Regards, Clive.

This is one of my examples of the Popski Badge, good quality and highly detailed, but original ww2 it is not. If a Forum member has an authenticated original it would be great to see. Regards, Clive.

Thank you Lee, that is interesting, expect this was fairly recently though. I will attach an image of four other Popski Badges, none of which are originals I am sure.

Reverse. The one on the right is the same as that posted by actionoke who started this thread.

I think the sterling silver marked examples and the LB ones can be described as original. Their purpose was not to deceive. They are original but not wartime. I think they are hard to find now.

The London Badge and Button Company (LB&BCO) started around 1973.
