Sorry to have a go, but why do people bid on stuff they know nothing about?

The wings are modern reproduction and the beige beret certainly isn't WW2 or the badge original to it even! Look at that the shape of that badge for Christ's sake!!!

It's a cobbled together lot that someone has purposely listed on eBay to make a few quid out of nothing. And guess what? It's worked.

Had to moderate myself, but its seams every other thread we see now is about SAS berets so I had that joke on standby.

If your going to buy WW2 special forces medal groups always, always make sure there is period paper work included to support the group or an officially named medal.....the only exception is if your paying only a few pounds in which case its worth the risk.

We all get caught out. Make sure you get your money back mate.

the guy had a 14 day return policy, so i told him that if i paid i then would only return it so we agreed to end transaction, i have 100% feedback and dont bid on everything then not pay, it was just a hasty bid that was a bit to hasty, i had my blinkers on, and as for being called an idiot i would really love to see you say that to my face you keyboard coward .

Steady on old boy. In this case the goods were trash and sold as genuine. If the seller is pushing the goods as 'genuine, period WW2' which they are not, Dave is entitled to the money back. Its how trading standards works in the UK.

Bidding and then not paying on genuine goods thats another story in my book.

i admit i dont have much of an idea in british pieces and have tons of books but they are all on third reich collecting, i have now taken a liking to british pieces but think i will stick to basic bits from now on, and luc the burma gear is paid for.
