    just won this on ebay, it loked interesting so had a shot , is it a hit or ****tt, only pics i have till it lands,

      its dated and apparently made in egypt, as a a few of the badges

              apparently, before war broke out he was in the royal artillery then volunteered for the commandos and ended up in egypt where he then volunteered for the sas, do the items look like they have a chance ? cheers dave

                  Well, if the medals are confirmed as his, he served in pretty much every theater of war; Africa Star, Italy Star, France & Germany Star, and Burma Star. Wonder how he was able to qualify for the Defence Medal, as it would seem virtually all of his service was overseas? Are the medals named? Most WWII medals are not, of course.

                      At least 3 of the cloth badges are post 1960, the 2 guns and the Jeboa.
