Hello all,
on occasion i find that a few British items enter my collection due to their use by other armies in various conflicts post 1945.
One such item is this windproof jungle shirt. On the rear of the shirt there are two sets of what i can only describe as support loops...but for what?
They are made of the same material as the shirt (naturally), but have no real tensile strength to them. I cannot imagine thay would support any real weight at all...
Any ideas as to what their purpose was?
Patrick.
