Hi Mietek, glad you found the pics of use

I have taken one final photo for you today. This is of a horn button on an Indian made BD blouse dated 7/42.

I found several brass BD buttons in my Nan's old sewing box which have come in very useful over the years.

A friend of mine bought a box of buttons for denims a few years ago. He now has several thousand of them!

one more varietyof button used..
I believe came into use just shortly after the war..maybe 45/46
but used on BDT of that time period...

Actually, this is the style of button used on Canadian made BD throughout the entire war and post war as well.
