Battledress khaki buttons

I would like to ask about khaki buttons for BD.
How many types were used and in which pattern?

Especially I am interested in war-time manufactured BD, including overseas manufacture.

Could you add some pictures?

Unfortunately I do not have war-time BD, so I am asking for help.

Hi Mietek, here we go. First off is the button used on the shoulder strap of the 1937 pattern BD Blouse.

Brass dished metal buttons as found on the 1937 pattern BD.

These can be found either unmarked or with various makers marks.

Another maker marked button can be seen in the centre here.

On the left is an zinc button while on the right a "Bull Dog" brand button from a pair of BD trousers (used for holding the braces)

Dark brown plastic button. These tend to be found on mid war to later war dated blouses, circa 1943/44.

The most common shade of button found on the 1940 pattern blouse which was worn from 1942 in a green shade.

This colour button continued to be used on the post war generation of BD blouses.

Tinned steel button worn on Indian made BD

Buttons made from animal horn can also be found on Indian made BD.

US made "War Aid" blouse. These buttons are larger than normal and are only found on US made BD.

RAF blued steel buttons from RAF BD.

Buttons used on denims. The bottom two are Indian or Middle Eastern made.

Thank you for pictures!!
They confirmed my expectations, so today I went again to charity shop. I bought box of buttons - mostly denim type, plus some BD made from brass - with and without markings, as well as small addition of RAF and French military buttons.

Quite nice finding.
