Camerons
Hi Edgar
The shoulder titles look right to me and are identical to English made examples I had on a BD that once belonged to a piper of the unit. These were acquired later in the war and usually worn home. The earlier examples are a tighter weave yellow on black and include the MG below. Nice classic example. Too bad you dont know who wore it?

Even got made by Tip-Top Tailors (still exists as a company by the way) as a maker so it was Canadian made most likely in Montreal.
cheers
Thanks for the help again, it's really nice to know that details. Do you have any clue what such jacket would be worth? Not that I'm going to sell it though.
Thanks in advance,
Greetings Edgar
