    Dear Fritz,

i don´t have any numbers of Tiger that fought in Berlin but it shouldn´t be that hard to find out i think.
    Regards
    Hans N

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

      Dear Hans,

I checked the books I have concerning the Berlin battle, if there is a list then it says "Tiger heavy tank". It doesn't say if 1 or 2. I think that most of the Tigers in Berlin were 2s . So I guess that it was only a hand full of 1s....anyways, I always thought it was only 2s fighting there. Thanks for the info!!

      Simon,
I don't know if I remember that corectly but does "Fegelein" wear a "Adolf Hitler" cufftitle in that movia? If so, I am in doubt that this is correct???

      Cheers

      Fritz

I was wondering about the gold Close Combat Badge ... I figured he never received one. I was suprised that he got the swords ... never saw a pic of him with swords.

I know the Germans were pulling anything that could move and fire into the battle in the dying weeks, stuff from training grounds, the testing ground at Kummersdorf and the like.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

When the teletype message from Göring comes in it is signed with:

                Göring
                Reichsfeldmarschall

But regardless of the mistakes which only collectors can spot it is a very good movie.

I believe he also was rather nice to a jewish Pianist but was then captured by the russians and was never discovered when he tried to find him after the war.

This guy (Thomas Kretchmann) has made a living playing German officers, he was also in "In Enemy Hands" and "U-571".

                          That's how

He ended up in Stalingard , allowing U-571 to be acptured or taking part in that most awful movie at all.
Must look out for him next time I watch "Stalingrad."

It's not yet released in the US--unless you have a multi region/multi format DVD player, you need to wait until the US release.
