Maybe this is of interest here: The 1942 Dienstbekleidungsvorschrift [DBklV, i.e. uniform regulations] of the Reichs Justice Administration specified the uniform of the guard crews at the Emsland camps as follows:

"Service dress consists of the blue uniform of the former Prussian precinct police with light green piping and the following modifications:

1. Tunic in dark blue, with unpiped stand-and-fall collar. Black shoulder boards with light green piping and a badge consisting of a pickaxe and spade (crossed), made of dull gold-colored light metal. Buttons and collar patches as for male personnel of penal institutions. The number of the camp in cyphers of yellow light metal is worn on the collar patch.
On the left upper arm, a green cloth triangle with the inscription "Emsland" in yellow cotton embroidery is worn; below that, as a length-of-service badge, one strip of gold-colored braid (ca. 6 mm wide) is worn for every 2 full years of service time.

2. Greatcoat: Blue with blue collar. Shoulder boards, buttons, badge etc. as with the tunic.

3. Service cap: Dark blue with black band and light-green pipings; otherwise, as per no. 5 e of the DBklV.

4. Leather equipment: As per no. 13 of the DBklV with the following difference: For lower ranks, cartridge pouches and on the belt instead of the circular buckle, a gold-colored rectangular buckle with the Swastika and the inscription (in the outer circle) "Gott mit uns".
Bayonet knot: Depending on rank, bayonet knots of green cloth or bayonet knots as per no. 15 of the DBklV are worn.

5. Rank insignia: As rank insignia, strips of gold braid of 1/2 cm width are worn across the shoulder boards by:

- Oberwachtmann - 1 strip of braid
- Halbzugführer - 2 strips of braid
- Zugführer - 3 strips of braid
- Hauptzugführer - 4 strips of braid.

The leader of a guard unit wears shoulder board no. 3 of the DBklV.
As additional rank badges, cap cords according to the DBklV and, with shoulder board no. 3, rosettes according to the DBklV may be used.

6. Walking-out dress: Permitted for wear with walking-out dress are:

a) Sidecap, blue with light-green piping, national cockade and national insigne.
b) A green aiguillette interwoven with a single red thread (for the unit leader, with a gold thread in addition to the red one) over the left shoulder.
A cord (whistle lanyard) extends from the aiguillette to the left breast pocket. The aiguillette is buttoned-on and may also be worn with the greatcoat. It may also be worn for special events.

7. Band and fife-and-drum corps:
Members of the band and the fife-and-drum corps wear swallows' nests of black cloth with braid, more specifically the band gold braid with gold fringes, the fife-and-drum corps cotton braid without fringes, the leader of the fife-and-drum corps gold braid with gold fringes.

8. Otherwise, the regulations of the DBklV apply accordingly."
