Anyone who can point to me where to get a copy of those books( mentioned by Rivett)
      1. J. R. Cone's book.
      2. Mike Tucker's book.
BTW, what is the title of these books?
      Thanks.

                  Just finish reading this book.
Need a microscope now to examine not only the party badge, but other medals like BO or KC..etc.
Any recommendation( brand, magnified power..etc),probably need something like this picture?

You are not missing anything, there is a video with a stupid female automated voice over, talking bollocks with occasional snippets of information mixed in.

Jo started with something like this (brand: Bresser) Works fine for me but you do need a pair of daylights to lighten up your working space. The build in light is not strong enough.

a few macro's of the markings and the white enamel on a Hoffstätter HJ Ehrenzeichen that I took with this type of Bresser.

That's what I found too. Made it through about 3-4 minutes and couldn't take anymore. Mike

This book raises the standard for what a resource book should be. The only downside to the book is that you will realize how subpar so many of the other books we trust now appear. This is the most scholarly research book I've ever seen.

Jo calls BS when he sees it, something that rubs some people (not me) the wrong way. He is blunt but he has the right to be, given his knowledge and experience with this stuff. Personally, I appreciate his approach.

The forum is poorer for his absence.

                              Buy the book.
