Just finished episode 2. Got my wife to watch it too, her comments amusing "God that's depressing, why do you guys like that stuff?" it is a tad unrealistic I agree, but it's TV. I agree it's definitely a made for german youth of today type show. Am impressed with uniforms and battle scenes. I especially liked the capture of the signal station outside of Kursk, pretty nice shot with the stick grenades too. Those have always impressed me. And at the end of episode 2 the partisans were awesome. Tough looking characters, yes?

my and my girlfriend love it
sad how the sacred SS boy turns in to a though Vet and dies fighting
that bit stuck with me
