I enjoyed the film

Superb uniform shots, beautiful photography.

The only thing that spoiled it for me is that all the LAH soldiers are swarthy Italian actors, I must say it would have been more realistic if they had use typical Teutonic actors

Finally managed to buy and watch the movie.

I have to say I am disappointed. The uniforms and details were all shown well and it looks like they did their homework regarding this. However, the storyline is boring, the acting is very bad, the voices are dubbed and the talking doesn't go equal to the movements of the mouths. As mentioned by others, it doesn't like right to only see Italian Germans, of which many are indeed overweight and overaged.

So if you wanna see good shots of uniforms and equipment this movie will do. If you prefer to also have a good movie with good acting and storyline, well, than better look for another movie.

Certainly, using Hollywood money, it would have been a very captivating film, even with regards to the slenderness of the actors and the frenzy of the scenes ...
