this documentary tells the story in the last part of the survivors in the camps, right up to when they step off the trains to see their loved ones 6 years after being held captive by the Russians.

Whilst AFAMFCCM is an entertaining film it is not really anything which could be quoted or looked upon as history , history is history and AFAMFCCM is not history.
It tends to get regular "outings" on Sky / Cable TV so I would save the $41 and catch it there.

Thorsten was referring to the German book not a film.
