Friends,
There is an interesting piece that was shown on last nights on the UK programme "Antiques Roadshow"
It was a scrapbook that a British Solider created about his time as a POW after being captured at Dunkirk.
This chap tried to escape from the POW camp with a German Uniform that he had made himself. The breast eagle is shown during the piece and not being a uniform\insignia guy I wondered how close it was to the real thing?
It's on the iplayer here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...32_Abbotsford/
and starts around 41:10.
Would be interested to hear your comments.
Regards
Ian
